The veteran extreme metal band from São Paulo, NervoChaos, has just released a new album entitled “Transmogrified Epiphany”, and pays homage to some of the bands that so much influence and inspire NervoChaos.

The name chosen for the album, “Transmogrified Epiphany”, in a simple explanation means modification. Epiphany, here without any religious connotation, emerges as a desire to transform hymns, giving them a new look, but with their original attributes and characteristics being maintained.

The album features 11 tracks, originally recorded and released by powerful bands that left their indelible mark and are now honored by NervoChaos. The songs were produced by Addasi Adassi in conjunction with the band and all material was mixed and mastered by Brendan Duffey. The graphic design was handled by Alcides Burn.

“Transmogrified Epiphany”, in addition to paying homage to those who came before, shows the strength of the band’s current lineup, now consolidated as a trio formed by Edu Lane (drums), Diego Mercadante (guitar and vocals) and Daniel Corvo (bass).
